Chelsea & Marcus e-session

Chelsea & Marcus had their engagement session a little over a week ago and here’s a quick glimpse at some of my favorites from the day.  It was probably one of the hottest days we’ve had so far but they were troopers and we had a ball running all over the park, acting like kids again.  Chelsea & Marcus, it was fun!  I enjoyed getting to work with y’all.

Mr. & Mrs. Silva…

Damaris & Daniel were married a little over a week ago.  Jeff & I are still talking about how much we enjoyed this wedding!  There was such a feeling of family and community throughout the day and so many traditions during the Mass.  There were a few times when I’d find myself caught up in the ceremony.   It was truly a celebration of love, commitment & family!  Daniel, Damaris and both the Silva & Carrillo families…thank you so much for allowing Jeff & I to be part of this special day and for making us feel so welcome.

Calli is turning two!

Little Miss Calli came in last week for her two year old portraits and we had a blast!  Like most two year olds, she was all independence and non-stop energy, wrapped up in CUTE!  So we just sat back and let her do her own thing and we ended up getting some great images.  Keisha, thanks so much for bringing Calli in…she’s a joy.   Hope y’all have a great party today…hugs to all the family!

Meet Julie…09 Senior spokesmodel

Several weeks ago, when Hayden was in, his mom & grandmom told me about his aunt, Julie who is a 09 senior.  We were able to meet for a quick session last week and I can’t wait til we do another session together…she is such a gorgeous young lady and her eyes are stunning!  Here’s a quick glimpse into her session.  Julie, hope you like these and that y’all hurry back in!!

AHP Weddings special offer…

Jeff and I have thoroughly enjoyed the couples and familys we have photographed for weddings and engagments and are looking forward to the weddings we have over the next few weeks.   And we’d like to thank everyone who called & emailed with wedding inquiries over the past month or so. 

Jeff & I finally sat down this past week and put together a simple wedding collections and pricing guide.  We will still be tweaking it here and there, as we find new products to offer…but we do have our pricing ready and will be sending it out to those of you who have requested it.

Our wedding collections now start at $1200 for the very “comfortably equipped” Essentials collection.  And as always, you can choose to use our ala carte pricing to ‘build your own’ collection.  We also offer add-on products such as Guest sign-in books, canvas prints, albums & artbooks, custom designed wedding invitations, Save-the-date announcements and Thank You cards.

The Fairy Ring…the fantasy project

While we were shooting Jesika’s session, I spotted a  circle of wild mushrooms…a “fairy ring” as my mother used to call them.  The spot was perfect for a fantasy project I’d been wanting to try.  Jesika had this cute white sundress that I knew would work perfectly for what I had in mind…so I asked her to pose in the midst of the circle.   I then took the image, meshed reality with fantasy…..”The Fairy Ring” was the result.

Meet Jesika…09 Senior Spokesmodel

Jesika is an 09 senior spokesmodels for Lufkin.  She came in this past week for her session and I had so much fun photographing her.   Her smile just lights up the room…and this fall, her smile will be lighting up the LHS stadium as she dances on the field as a Panther Pride officer.  Congratulations, Jesika!  You were a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to do another session soon.  Here’s a sneak peek…

Erin…Sr. 09

Erin and I got started on her senior portraits this week and I had a great time with her and Casey.  Here’s a few of my favorites from her session.  Sometime soon, Erin, we’ll plan that outdoor session with the cows, the ’stang and some real drumsticks (haha!) and we will have a blast!

Erin and Casey were in from Burleson for a visit this past week and we were able to get started on Erin’s senior portraits.   I can’t believe Erin is already a senior and how tall Casey has grown!  They are a hoot to be around…always smiling and giggling.  Here’s a few fun ones we shot of Erin and Casey together between clothing and background changes.   

Hunter…

The Houl’s came by today for Hunter’s first pics and to grab a quick family shot.  Hunter’s such a cutie and even though he was playing hard to get with his smiles today, we were able to get some sweet images for them.  I hope we’ll do another session together soon.  I love the shots of Hunter with Henry & Chenda.  They are such a cute couple and a great family.  Many of you know them from their business here in Diboll, the Donut Palace.  They’ve got the best breakfast & lunch in town so be sure to stop by and tell them hi!
