Kent & Stephanie… “The Bride Wore Boots!”

Several months ago Mickey & Celeste, (photographer friends who have helped Jeff & I this past year), asked us if we would be available for their son’s wedding.  We were honored when they asked us and are so glad we had the opportunity to meet Kent, Stephanie and all their friends & family.   Kent could hardly keep his eyes off his bride and who could blame him, Stephanie was absolutely gorgeous in her white boots!  They had a fun, beautiful day and we had a great time with them.

Mr. & Mrs. Silva…

Damaris & Daniel were married a little over a week ago.  Jeff & I are still talking about how much we enjoyed this wedding!  There was such a feeling of family and community throughout the day and so many traditions during the Mass.  There were a few times when I’d find myself caught up in the ceremony.   It was truly a celebration of love, commitment & family!  Daniel, Damaris and both the Silva & Carrillo families…thank you so much for allowing Jeff & I to be part of this special day and for making us feel so welcome.

AHP Weddings special offer…

Jeff and I have thoroughly enjoyed the couples and familys we have photographed for weddings and engagments and are looking forward to the weddings we have over the next few weeks.   And we’d like to thank everyone who called & emailed with wedding inquiries over the past month or so. 

Jeff & I finally sat down this past week and put together a simple wedding collections and pricing guide.  We will still be tweaking it here and there, as we find new products to offer…but we do have our pricing ready and will be sending it out to those of you who have requested it.

Our wedding collections now start at $1200 for the very “comfortably equipped” Essentials collection.  And as always, you can choose to use our ala carte pricing to ‘build your own’ collection.  We also offer add-on products such as Guest sign-in books, canvas prints, albums & artbooks, custom designed wedding invitations, Save-the-date announcements and Thank You cards.

Lindsay & her very own Mr. Wright…

Lindsay & Justin were married Saturday, surrounded by family and friends, with so much love, joy and tradition.  They celebrated in the same church where Lindsay’s parents married…and the mirror where Lindsay & her mom, LaDonna are adjusting the veil is the same mirror where her grandmother adjusted her mom’s veil on her parent’s wedding day.  Lindsay’s little bit of ’something old’ was a lace applique from LaDonna’s wedding gown tucked into her bouquet.  LaDonna’s uncle performed the ceremony, making this the third generation of their family that he’s joined & blessed.  After the ceremony & reception, they had a dance at Justin’s uncle’s place…which is a fabulous place to have a party!  

Here’s just a sneak peek of just a few of our favorites.  The traditions of the day inspired me to try some ‘lightly aged’ treatments that I’ve been playing with.   Lindsay, Justin and both of your families…Jeff & I thank you for letting us share in your day.  We hope you enjoy your portraits, have a great honeymoon and may God bless & keep you happy everyday for all the years to come !!

Meet Mr. & Mrs. Rios…

Last Saturday, Ashlei & Luis tied the knot!  It was such a great wedding…  Ashlei did a wonderful job with all the planning, the food that the family provided was delicious and everything was sooo beautiful!  Luis and his boys were so much fun, they kept us entertained all evening.  The girls were a blast and it was good to see eveyone again.  Everyone had a good time celebrating with the happy couple and their young son, Tristen (who did a fantastic job as ring bearer).  Ashlei, Luis and Tristen…thank you so much.  We were so happy to share in your day and Jeff & I wish you every happiness and many blessings in the years to come!
