Forrest…SR 09 spokesmodel

Posted by Allison Hearne on October 1, 2008

A few weeks ago, Forrest came in for a session and in between hurricanes ;-) I didn’t get a chance to blog any of his images.  This morning, I was editing his session and knew I’d have to upload a handful of my favorites!  Forrest is on the golf team for Hudson, so we shot a few with his clubs and he also brought in both of his guitars…an acoustic and this beautiful black Gibson.  You can tell we had a lot of fun with the Gibson!   Thanks for coming in and I can’t wait to do the outdoor session.  Read the rest of this entry »

Ashley H…Group 2 candidate

Posted by Allison Hearne on September 25, 2008

Representing Group 2 is Ashley Hines.   Ashley is a senior at DHS and is very involved in both school and the community including National Honor Society, Student Council and Diboll’s Youth basketball league.   We managed to squeeze in a quick session early Saturday morning once the power returned.  I asked Ashley what she had planned for the rest of the day and she told me she was headed for the kid’s bingo, then the football game and back that evening for the sportsman bingo.  (To see what else Group 2 is offering, check out www.dibollday.org )

Right as we were finishing up the session, we got one last image.  I loved it as soon as I saw it, so this morning I played with it a bit to see how it would look as a poster.  Hope you like it, Ashley and best of luck to you & Group 2! Read the rest of this entry »

Ashley W…Group 1 candidate

Posted by Allison Hearne on September 25, 2008

This year I had the honor of photographing the 2008 Diboll Day candidates.  Diboll Day is more than just a day of celebrating and homecoming.  It’s a month long flurry of fun and fund raising activities to benefit the Diboll Booster Club which in turn sponsors many of the projects around the community.  I’m late getting these online for these ladies and I do apologize…but because of Hurricane Ike, and all that followed, the delay was unavoidable.  The hurricane also effected many of the Diboll Day plans but they are now back in full swing, so check the calendar at www.dibollday.org   Come out and eat, have a good time and get in on the games & prizes.  It’s for a great cause!

Working hard for Group 1 is Ashley Wilson.   Ashley is a junior at DHS and an All-American cheerleader on the varsity squad.   She’s a terrific young lady and if you see her around town, tell her what a great job she’s doing…and buy a raffle ticket!  Read the rest of this entry »
